BitPay recently allowed US citizens to pay their cryptocurrency fees. From now on, BitPay will allow these same taxpayers to receive tax refunds in bitcoins.
It was via a press release that BitPay announced its partnership with Refundo. The purpose is to allow US residents to recover their federal and state tax refunds in bitcoins.
REFUNDO LAUNCHES COINRT
Thanks to the Refundo service called CoinRT, BitPay will be able to receive these repayments in dollars, convert them into BTC, and then send them on the wallet of the taxpayer.
“Refundo offers several options to help taxpayers receive their tax refunds in a safer, faster and more convenient way. (…) The addition of Bitcoin was a natural choice for our customers (…) “Roger Chinchilla, CEO of Refundo
CoinRT users may choose to receive all or part of their tax refund in bitcoins.
For Rolf Haag, Director of Business Solutions at BitPay, this craze for using Bitcoin is due to the fact that:
“Recipients are tired of paying [fees] to receive, and shippers want to make their recipients more satisfied without incurring additional costs”
This new interface between the market and users is welcome. These new points of contact between the market and the consumers make it possible to increase the liquidity of the market, which is always good news, and tends to show an ever increasing adoption.
